Takumi - a guy who makes people love and hate him. He's such an interesting person, and you can't tell who exactly he is. But in reality, this kind of person is those kind of scary people. Ai Yazawa weaves a story in such a way that you can't really hate anyone in her manga. However, this time, in NANA, there are still a few hate-able characters.
Needless to say, Takumi is a very sucessful person. A possessive person though. But that's what made me like him. Isn't it ironical? But this is not all about him!! Though Takumi appears rather indifferent, but deep down, he's a really caring person. I guess Hachi's character affected him quite a lot. It had made him kinder.
Let me bring up one point - Takumi is not those kind of faithful guy. He cheated on Hachi even when they were engaged. Of course, Hachi eventually found out. But she forgave him (can you imagine that??!). The thought of this sends me to insanity. Yet, when i read the sneak peeks between the storyline, it makes me so happy(: Takumi would be a good father!
I've re-read the part for almost ten times, but i just don't seem to get tired of it. I'm a mad NANA-ist(:
Manga is my life. It can change my mood no matter how i feel...I'm addicted.
