I'm going to start talking about NANA again...(laughs) In NANA, the couple - Nana Oosaki & Ren, admires the love of Sid & Nancy. I read the story behind the couple - Sid & Nancy, and i came to realise how foolish humans can be. But, truthfully, sometimes admiration for them exists - for the extend they go for love. A biographical movie was made of them in 1986, and was referred as the punk version of Romeo and Juliet.

Born on 10 May, 1957, John Simon Ritchie-Beverly, later known as Sid Vicious, had a mother who made a living by selling drugs, a father who died early. Her mother remarried. However, shortly after the marriage, Sid's step-father died.

He met John Lydon(Johnny Rotten), the same year when he started taking heroin. He then later joined the Sex Pistols and played the bass in the band. The November of 1977, was the turning point of Sid's fate - the month when he met Nancy Laura Spungen. Nancy worked in London as a prositute, and was a heroin addict. Sid and Nancy had deep love for each other, however, the relationship was rocky. And eventually, it effected Sex Pistols.

Sex Pistols broke up in their music tour in America - where Johnny Rotten walked off the stage. It was said that Sid was missing Nancy, who was in London at that point of time, and made a lot of errors during the concert. Nancy then later flew to America to unite with Sid, who later went solo. Nancy(Sid's manager at that point) even slept with Sid's promoters, in order to secure Sid's jobs.

The couple meanwhile locked themselves in their own world - drug addiction and self-destruction. When Nancy gave Sid a knife, Sid stabbed her to death. Only when he woke up from the drug stupor, he realised what he had done. He was charged with murder.

At a bail of $50,000, Sid Vicious was released. He later went to a party to celebrate his release, and also where he got heroin from his mother. He was found dead due to overdose the next morning. Lying beside him was a poem he had wrote - Nancy.

'You were my little baby girl,
And I shared all your fears.
Such joy to hold you in my arms
and kiss away your tears.
But now you're gone, there's only pain
and nothing I can do.
And I don't want to live this life,
If I can't live for you.
To my beautiful baby girl.
Our love will never die...'
